Taking it to Sundance

One of my personal goals since high school has been the desire to bring a movie that I was involved in making to one of the Sundance Labs and ultimately to the Sundance Film Festival, which is held every January in Park City, Utah. To that end, I volunteered to work at Sundance in 2011 and 2012, and would have continued volunteering if I could have afforded to -- it cost about $2000 dollars each time I volunteered -- you have to find your own housing the first 2 years you volunteer and of course your own food, going back to college also made volunteering after that problematic.

This is a goal that I cling to to this very day. I am committed to taking a film I wrote, directed or both, to the Park City festival. The chance to be around like minded artists, the chance to maybe find someone with similar hopes and dreams and form a collaboration on another project are just some of the notions that drive me to this goal of someday exhibiting at Sundance.
